Materials

The standard NDS bearing housings are made of grey cast iron.
Certain housings are also available in spheroidal graphite cast iron (ductile iron) and cast steel if higher strength is required. However, housings in Stainless Steel is also can be supplied.
For applications where housings of greater strength are needed, FSQ manufactures range of bearing housings of SSN, SSNK, SSD, SSAF...
The bases of these housings are solid and may be drilled for 2 or 4 bolt fixes are required.
 
Seals

Several different seals can be supplied. All rubber seals can be used at temperatures between -40ºC and + 100ºC.
Seals for temperatures over 100ºC are also available upon request.
Many other types of bearing housings not listed in this catalog and variants of listed housings adapted to customer demands can also be supplied.
